Come out of your cave

How good a filter am I?

When Pastor Santar mentioned that ‘we are a filter to God in our everyday living’, it strikes me how important we are in God’s plan.

That places a huge responsibility on us to do our utmost to represent Him. It is just like an athlete representing a country or an ambassador of a country. You would want to do your best to put your country in good light.

If we filter well, the glory of God shines through us and more will be seeking Him. If we are bad filters, we will contaminate not just our lives but also deprive others of a chance for God. People will distance themselves from us so we can’t be effective witnesses. 

Lord, I pray that you will help me be a good filter.
