Money Not Enough

Ps Chen’s message, while somewhat familiar to most, is still an important reminder to us all not to bank our lives on the wrong horse. The core of his message is founded on 1 Timothy 6: 6-19. I read the said biblical reference again and it’s certainly a message on life itself for, much of our human pursuits is centred on economic activities and as thick-necked humans, we are often carried away with our earthly desires.

There are 2 instances where I find my gem in his message. The first is there are 2 kinds of people: one that regards God as God and the other, does not. The latter do not want to be held accountable to God and would do as they deem fit. Which are you?

The other gem is most people only see what God has not given them but are blind to what God has. Needless to say, if we only see what we have not been given, we will remain discontented and disheartened.

His message can be summed up in one Godly statement: Godliness with contentment is great gain.
