An Encounter with God
Pastor puts her message in perspective with the question ’What does it mean to “encounter” God?
And I was especially caught up with her first of 3 points and that is ‘encounters with God are about God’. That puts me in my place less my head gets carried away with ‘it’s all about me’ for I must know my place in His scheme of things.
And even in our ‘encounters’, as what Pastor said, ‘His voice convicts us but not condemns us’.
She went on to elaborate on the other 2 points:
- encounters with God bring deliverance and
- encounters with God result in change.
I guess there is no need for me to elaborate on the two points above safe to say our encounters will result in our repentance and deliverance and a subsequent change for the better.
