One Thankful Man
Sister Yoke Hwee contended that seeking God is a two-way process and that theme ran through the message she delivered this morning. The timing of the message was certainly perfect, coming a week before Christmas, a season of giving and receiving; but one must not be distracted by the festive spirit for it was a message that meant to keep you sober too.
The following gems appealed to me as I listened:
- God values thankfulness
- Thanksgiving is a direct command of scripture
- Thanksgiving unlocks God’s blessings
- Give thanks for things we may deem not enough. (This appeals to me most.)
We should set out to do all the above for Sister Yoke Hwee said ‘the key is in our mouth’ and that is a powerful key.
